How long is the play?

It runs to around 2 hours with an interval.

Do you have weekday matinees?

No, but we do have a matinee on the Saturday.

Is this a modern production?

No, this production is set during the Renaissance period in Italy, so it’s set in a fairly

traditional time.

Is it adapted or modern text?

No, it is a cut version of Shakespeare’s original text.

What age range is it suitable for?

It is suitable for 8 years and above with parental guidance for the youngest children.

Is anything unsuitable for very young children?

It includes mild adolescent sexual content and some mild fight scenes, with fake blood.

My students are studying Romeo & Juliet: are there Q&A sessions available?

Unfortunately, we do not hold Q&A sessions at this time but if the students would like to email questions to birdiedoesinfo@aol.co.uk we would be happy to answer them.

Can I reserve tickets or buy on the door?

You can buy on the door but we do not recommend this for large groups. All tickets must be bought before the show as you cannot reserve.

How can I buy tickets?

Are their group discounts available?

Yes if you buy 9 tickets you get the 10th free - only available through the box office.

Is there parking at the venue?

There is a small amount of off street parking available around both venues, which is free during off peak hours.
